Are you familiar with produce perks? With your Ohio Direction Card you can go to
your local participating Cuyahoga County farmers market and request $10 (or more) worth of tokens and they
will match you (up to $10) in produce perks.
Produce Perks are green coins that can be used at all farmers markets
(whereas specific token can only be used at that particular market). Best part is that this is not a one-time
deal. For instance if you visit North
Union Farmers Market you can go to each one throughout the week and request the
produce perks. That’s $10 a day nearly $60 a week in free, fresh, clean
produce. Access and affordability what
more can you ask for in eating healthier?
See you at the market,
Olivia Rose
